No, No, It Can’t Be

Looking out to Arran from high above Glencallum Bay, BBC weather forecast: Sunny

A new year begins. The 2010 naked calendar is now sadly obsolete, I’m practising saying twenty eleven instead of two thousand and eleven, and it’s back to work tomorrow with a big spot on the end of my nose and a coat that’s mysteriously shrunk at the waist since I last had it on.

Happy 2011 everyone!

Happy New Year Moira! Hope you had a good break – we spent new year in Tenby – watched the fireworks at midnight then retired to a pub to sing Tom Jones songs with a pool team from Merthyr. The ring leader was Martyn’s cousin – ladies captain of said pool team – they were great singers!

Happy New Year to you too Pauline! Tenby sounds great, especially the Tom Jones songs. No such excitements for us in the Buteshack, though. I checked my watch at 11:50pm so that I could listen out for the bells on the Clyde, and the next thing I knew it was the next morning and I’d missed the whole shebang. Must have been very tired or something…
